About Zinnia Blue

Zinnia Blue is an alt-country/Americana musical duo based in the beautiful landscape of Cygnet, Tasmania. The duo consists of married couple Kate Tucker and Matt Ellis.

Their musical style is known for creating sparse, brooding melodies and lyrical, uplifting ballads, accompanied by interweaving guitars and haunting two-part harmonies. Reinterpreting elements of country, folk, and old-time music traditions, they released their debut album, The Garden, in early 2020.

Their live performances often feature a rotating band of talented guest musicians playing instruments like the dobro, mandolin, violin, and cello.
